Born in Muncy, Pennsylvania, Dawn has been drawing and painting since childhood. Dawn studied art at Pennsylvania College of Technology. In 2003, Dawn transplanted to Tucson, Arizona. Since moving to Arizona, Dawn has helped organized art shows at the Picture Rocks Community Center, has been showing her art work in the annual CPSA (Community Partnershipship of Southern Arizona) Mental Heath Arts Show since 2009, and has also exhibited artwork in a community art show at La Paloma Resort in Tucson, Arizona. Dawn states, "I have been attending Art Awakenings regularly. Art saves Lives! End the stigma of mental illness!"
